Slice the steak into strips. 2. In a slow cooker, add the beef broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and brown sugar. 3. Mix the ingredients together, add the sliced steak, and mix again to ensure the beef is fully coated. 4. Set the slow cooker to low, and cook for 4 hours. 5. Prepare a cornstarch slurry by thoroughly mixing the cornstarch and water together in a small bowl, then stir this into the cooked beef. 6.
